The Threefold Way of Pure Forgiveness

Pure Forgiveness

The Threefold Way of Pure Mind, Pure Heart, and Pure Love

Pure Forgiveness is not something you force. It is not something you perform. It is not something you rush.

Pure Forgiveness is what naturally unfolds when experience is met in three ways:

  • Pure Mind — clear seeing
  • Pure Heart — honest feeling
  • Pure Love — healing kindness

This teaching exists to protect what is tender, to honor what is real, and to let healing happen in its own time.

The Threefold Way

1) Pure Mind — Seeing Clearly

Pure Mind is awareness itself. It is the simple knowing of experience before judgment, story, or self-attack.

  • Nothing is denied
  • Nothing is exaggerated
  • Nothing is pushed away

Pure Mind does not try to forgive. It simply knows what is here.

Pure Mind phrase: “This is being known.”

Pure Mind creates safety. Without safety, forgiveness cannot grow.

2) Pure Heart — Feeling Honestly

Pure Heart is the unarmored human heart. It is where truth is felt rather than explained.

  • Grief is allowed
  • Anger is permitted
  • Longing is honored
  • Tenderness is welcome

Pure Heart does not pretend. It does not perform spirituality. It simply says, “This matters.”

Pure Heart phrase: “This is what I truly feel.”

Pure Heart restores dignity to the wounded places.

3) Pure Love — Healing Gently

Pure Love is not sentimental. It is not forced positivity. It is kindness without conditions.

  • Pain is held, not fixed
  • Shame softens
  • Fear relaxes
  • Forgiveness becomes possible

Pure Love does not demand release. It offers warmth until release happens naturally.

Pure Love phrase: “This belongs in kindness.”

How Forgiveness Happens Here

Forgiveness is not the goal. Freedom is the goal.

Forgiveness may look like:

  • Releasing resentment
  • Ending self-attack
  • Letting go of the past’s grip
  • No longer organizing life around the wound

Sometimes forgiveness comes clearly. Sometimes it comes quietly. Sometimes it does not come at all — and healing still does.

This path honors timing, boundaries, and truth.

A Simple Orientation Practice

You may return to this anytime:

  • Pure Mind: “Awareness is here.”
  • Pure Heart: “This matters.”
  • Pure Love: “May this be held kindly.”

In one sentence: Pure Mind knows. Pure Heart feels. Pure Love heals.

Mini-Practice (2 minutes)

  1. Feel your feet or your seat. Take one slow breath.
  2. Whisper: “Pure Mind is here.”
  3. Ask: “What is truly here?”
  4. Whisper: “May this be held kindly.”

May you be held in Pure Mind. May you be warmed by Pure Love. May the heart be honest and free.
